What we engineer in wastewater treatment

Chemical Precipitation

pH adjustment, coagulation (alum/PAC), flocculation (polymer), and sedimentation for heavy metal and suspended solids removal.

Membrane Filtration

Ultrafiltration (UF) and reverse osmosis (RO) for dissolved solids removal, with membrane cleaning automation and flux monitoring.

Biological Treatment

MBR (membrane bioreactor), MBBR, or activated sludge processes for COD/BOD reduction with nutrient removal (nitrogen/phosphorus).

Sludge Dewatering

Belt filter press, centrifugal dewatering, or filter press for sludge reduction to 20-30% dry solids, with sludge drying and disposal planning.

Water Reuse System

Tertiary treatment with activated carbon, UV disinfection, and RO polishing for process water reuse, reducing freshwater intake by up to 60%.

SCADA & Automation

Real-time monitoring of flow, pH, COD, turbidity, chemical dosing, and pump status with automated alarm and reporting.

What types of industrial wastewater does MCLANTIS treat?
MCLANTIS designs systems for printing effluent (ink, solvent, developer), electronics wastewater (heavy metals, fluoride), and general manufacturing wastewater (COD, BOD, TSS).
Can treated water be reused in production?
Yes. With tertiary treatment (activated carbon + UV + RO polishing), up to 60% of treated water can be reused for cooling, cleaning, and process water.
How is sludge handled?
Sludge is dewatered to 20-30% dry solids using belt filter presses or centrifuges. Dried sludge is disposed of according to local hazardous waste regulations.
What discharge standards are met?
Systems are engineered to meet local discharge standards (typically COD ≤ 50-100 mg/L, heavy metals below detection limits, pH 6-9). MCLANTIS handles all regulatory permitting.
